If you are looking for a new engine for your Modified or Sportsman, this is a option that the CVRA has made available to you. This engine is not mandatory, it is an alternative to the high priced 358 engines. This engine offers many benefits to racers.

This engine was tested in 2005 in a sportsman car, results were very positive, this engine is designed to allow sportsman and modified drivers to compete with High Cost 358's. This engine is intended to produce maximum power at approximately 7500 rpm's. The engines cubic inch has increased torque over 358's. This is a combination  that has been developed to compete with CVRA  & DIRT 358's,  not  a combination that is designed to fit many different sanctioning bodies throughout the US.
